鶯は雪に閉じ込められた谷の古巣を思い出して桜の花にささやいています

A uguisu whispers to the cherry blossoms, remembering its old nest in the snow-covered valley.

(62) 吉野山雲をはかりに尋ね入りて心にかけし花を見るかな

雲を目指して吉野山を登ると、心に描いていた花を見ることができました

I climbed Mt. Yoshino directing to the clouds, and could see the flowers I had drawn in mind.

(63) 思ひやる心や花に行かざらん霞こめたるみ吉野の山

吉野の山はたちこめる霞の中だけど私の心は花を思い描いています

The mountains of Yoshino are in the mist, but my heart is imagining flowers.

 

(64) おしなべて花の盛りに成りにけり山の端ごとにかかる白雲

辺りは花でいっぱいになって、白い雲が山の稜線ごとににかかっているように見えます。

The area is filled with flowers, and it looks like white clouds are hanging over each mountain ridge.

 

(65) まがふ色に花咲きぬれば吉野山春は晴れせぬ峰の白雲

雲かと見間違うほどに咲く吉野山の峰の白雲は晴れることがありません

Mt. Yoshino is so full of flowers that it can be mistaken for clouds that never clear up.

 

(66) 吉野山梢の花を見し日より心は身にもそはず成りにき

吉野山の梢の花を見た日から心は身体を離れたままです

Since the day I saw the flowers in the treetops of Mt. Yoshino, my mind has been separated from my body.

 

(67) あくがるる心はさても山桜散りなんのちや身に帰るべき

山桜を恋しんだ心は花が散っても我が身に戻らないようです

The heart that loved wild cherry blossoms does not seem to return to me even after the flowers fall.
