宵の露にうなだれる女郎花ですが、明け方には月影を楽しんでいます

The ominaeshi are drooping with evening dew, but at dawn they are enjoying the moonlight.

たはる：色恋に溺れる。たわむれる。女郎花を後朝（きぬぎぬ）の風情にみたてて

 

(392) 庭さゆる月なりけりなをみなへし霜にあひぬる花と見たれば

霜に覆われた花のように見えますが、実は月明かりに照らされた庭に咲く「オミナエシ」の花です

Although they look like flowers covered in frost, they are actually ominaeshi flowers blooming in a moonlit 

garden.

 

(393) 月のすむ浅茅にすだくきりぎりす露の置くには秋を知るらん

澄んだ月明かりの下、草原にコオロギが集まります。露を見て秋が来たことを知るでしょう。

The crickets gather in the grass field under the clear moonlight. They will know that autumn has come, seeing 

the dew.

きりぎりす：現在のコオロギを指す

 

(394) 露ながらこぼさで折らん月影に小萩が枝の松虫の声

露を付けたまま月影とともに萩の枝を折りましょう。鈴虫もそのまま枝に止まらせて。

Let's break off the bush clover branch with the dew still on it and the moonlight. Let the bell crickets land on 

the branch as well.

松虫：現在の鈴虫を指す

 

(395) わがよとや更けゆく空を思ふらん声も休まぬきりぎりすかな

更けゆく空を我が夜だとや思うのでしょうか、コオロギの声が休むことはありません

Perhaps it thinks the darkening sky as its own night. The voice of crickets never rest.

 

(396) 夕露の玉しく小田の稲筵かぶす穂末に月ぞすみける

田の稲筵に夕露の玉が付き重ね伏す稲穂の先に月が映っています

The moon is reflected on the rice mats in the field, where beads of evening dew have formed.

稲筵（いなむしろ）：実った稲が倒れ伏す様を表す
