夕(ゆふ)月夜(づくよ)かな

秋の夜といえば中秋の名月ですが、この夜はほのかな月明かりです。

It is thought of the harvest moon on autumn nights, but this evening is with a faint moonlight.

(307) 天の原月たけのぼる雲路をばわきても風の吹きはらはなん

天の原を月が高く登ります。月の路の雲をばとくに風に吹きはらってほしい

The moon is rising high in the sky. I wish the wind would blow away the clouds in the moon's path.

(308) うれしとや待つ人ごとに思ふらん山の端出づる秋の夜の月

秋の夜、山の端から昇る月は、月を待つ人々と同じくらい幸せな気分になるでしょう。

The moon rising from the edge of the mountain on an autumn night will feel as happy as people who wait for 

the moon.

(309) なかなかに心つくすも苦しきに曇らば入りね秋の夜の月

晴れるかどうかなんて気にするより、曇ってたら秋の夜の月を山の向こうに隠してしまおう

Rather than worrying about whether it will be clear or not, if it is cloudy, let's just put the autumn night moon 

behind the mountains.

(310) いかばかりうれしからまし秋の夜の月すむ空に雲なかりせば

秋の夜、雲ひとつない空に月が見えたらどんなに幸せだろう

How happy I would be if the moon appeared on the cloudless sky on an autumn night.
